James came to the Theatre & Drama department in February 2008 to serve as the Fiscal Officer. He has been working at Indiana University since 2004 having worked for the School of Music and Continuing Studies.

Some of James’ duties as Fiscal Officer include conducting general business operations in compliance with IU policies and procedures, monitor funding commitments, approving expenditures, and managing all faculty research and IU Foundation accounts.

James holds a Bachelor of General Studies degree (BGS) with a minor in Criminal Justice from Indiana University, an Associates of Science in Financial Management from the Community College of the Air Force. James is a native of Bloomington and graduated BHS North in 1988. A 9 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force having been stationed in Germany as a Security Policeman, Florida and the United Kingdom as a Financial Analyst prior to returning to Bloomington. James is glad to make the transition into the department Theatre & Drama. His office is in AD 210 and stop by anytime with questions or concerns.
