About Elizabeth Allen

Elizabeth Allen is a senior majoring in theatre and drama.

For IU Theatre: Peter and the Starcatcher, The Tempest, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike (Stage Manager), Antigone, Hedda Gabler, Into the Woods, Romeo and Juliet, Encounters and Collisions (Assistant Stage Manager), and Mr. Burns: a post-electric play (Gun Master). For IU Summer Theatre: A Midsummer Night's Dream (Stage Manager) and Sense and Sensibility (Assistant Stage Manager). For IU Musical Arts Center: The Music Man (Assistant Stage Manager). For University Players: Marat/Sade (Scenic Designer), Ivy and Bean (Technical Director), Legally Blonde: The Musical (Assistant Stage Manager), Other: Intentions (Stage Manager) an IU independent production. For University Players Board of Directors: Production Stage Manager (2016-2017 and 2017-2018 Seasons) and Assistant Technical Director (2015-2016 Season). USITT IU Student Chapter Vice President (2016-2018).

Last summer, Elizabeth was a stage management apprentice for Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston, South Carolina, assistant stage managing Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin and working on the stage management team for music and dance concerts such as artist Dee Dee Bridgewater and dance piece OCD Love throughout the festival. Elizabeth also recently had the pleasure of working as a Production Assistant for the 20th Anniversary Tour of RENT and White Christmas through Work Light Productions.

She is the recipient of the Suzanne Collins and Charles Pryor Scholarship (2017), and the Nota Scholl McGreevey Scholarship (2016). Elizabeth is a proud member of the 96th Board of Aeons.
