About Nathan Carey

Nathan Carey is a senior Theatre major hailing from Crown Point, IN. For IU Theatre: Julius Caesar (Cobbler). For University Players: Ghost Quartet (Bear). IU Independent Projects include Rocky Horror Show (Rocky), and Measure for Measure (Angelo). He appeared in the Jacobs School of Music's production of Hamiltunes, a Hamilton sing-along, as Aaron Burr and King George. He spent the summer performing in IU's Welcome to College musical, and is excited to return to the stage!

Nathan began his collegiate career with hopes of being an astronaut, but was deterred from this dream after taking calculus at IU. Having a knack for entertainment, he decided to change his major and was quickly immersed in the world of theatre. He is incredibly thankful to the Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance for giving him a safe place to explore his love for performance. When he isn't on stage, he enjoys petting dogs, playing and writing music, and having existential crises.
