Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance

Katie is a current senior at Indiana University Studying Contemporary Dance. At Indiana University, she has performed in works by artists Liz Shea, Robert Burden, Selene Carter, Evelyn Wang and Justin Sears Watson. Additionally, she has participated as dancer and choreographer in student run shows, including: Junior Choreographic Projects, Student Led Independent Projects and New Moves. She is originally from Hartford City, IN, where she trained at Premiere Dance Center. Additionally, she participated in summer programs with the Boston Conservatory and Zion Dance Project, working with artists William Isaac, Sidra Bell, Michael Trusnovac and Vincent Hardy. Since Spring 2023, she has collaborated with Revelations Dance Company in Indianapolis, participating in Genesis, Indy Dance Festival and Currents. After graduation, she plans to join faculty at Indy Dance Academy and continue working with Relevations Dance at their new studio, Steps on 65th.
