Josh Decker is a Sophomore at Indiana University studying theatre (B.A.) with a focus on acting as well as a recently added second major in media. Josh is from Hammond Indiana, just a short drive from the Windy City, and is so excited to be part of his first production with IU Mainstage! Though this is his first production with IU mainstage, you may have seen him in At First Sight New Works Festival as Andrew in Silent Shadows and in Of Dreamers and Desperados as Baz. He was also well in Call Your Shot, a new work put on by the University Players, as Leo. Josh also did a variety of shows back in his hometown, such as Footloose, Spongebob and The Merry Wives of Windsor with the Munster Theatre Company, Back to the 80’s with the Genesius Guild in Hammond, and Where Have All the Lightning Bugs Gone with L’arc en Ciel theatre Guild. Those familiar with the Indiana Thespians State Tournament may have seen him in Fire Exit (Rudy) and The Yellow Boat (Father) with MTC. Josh would like to thank his supportive friends, amazing girlfriend, wonderful family, and incredibly talented castmates for their support!
