About Mauricio Miranda

Mauricio Miranda is a graduate of the MFA Playwriting program at Indiana University. His plays include Occupants, American Asteroid, God Red, CrossROADS, Bound & Broken, Marriage Play, and The Watchman. Occupants was the Kennedy Center's LATINIDAD Award 2017, and a Finalist for 2019 NATIONAL LATINX AWARD by the Arizona Theatre Company.

Productions/workshops by the John F. Kennedy Center Performing Arts, National New Play Network, The Living Room Theatre, At First Sight Festival, South Eastern Theatre Conference, Indiana University, University of Connecticut, and Freed-Hardeman University.

Mauricio is also an actor, and has earned a B.A. in Theatre Performance from Freed-Hardeman and an MFA in Acting from the University of Connecticut.
