About Daniel Meeks

Daniel Meeks is a third-year M.F.A. student in Acting. IU Theatre credits include Twelfth Night (Sir Toby Belch), Little Women (Father), Wonderful Town (Appopolus), Titus Andronicus (Saturnine) and The Heiress (Dr. Sloper). Other performance highlights include Peter Pan (Captain Hook), Les Cages Aux Folles (Jacob), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Barfée), The Roar of The Greasepaint, The Smell of The Crowd (Sir). Daniel is from Chattanooga, Tennessee. He attended the Professional Actor Training Program in his hometown of Chattanooga, before receiving his Bachelor’s in Theatre from Middle Tennessee University. Daniel loves being on stage with or without a script. He has trained in improvisation for as long as he has trained in acting. He spent a year working at the infamous Second City as a producing assistant. You might even find him working behind a camera every now and then.
