About Julianne Rice

Julianne began her dance training in Munster, Indiana at The Dance Gallery where she studied styles of ballet, modern, jazz, and lyrical. Continuing her dance education, she is now a senior at Indiana University Bloomington pursuing a BFA in Contemporary Dance.

At IU, she has had the privilege of being cast in guest artist works, "Germe" choreographed by Stefanie Batten Bland and excerpts from Jose Limon's "Suite from Psalm". Julianne has danced in faculty works of Elizabeth Shea's "Hot Dust" and Stephanie Nugent's "Helix". In March 2018, she will be head to University of Illinois to perform Dr. Nyama McCarthy-Brown's "Five Pillars" at the American College Dance Association. Here, she will also be bringing her choreographed work, "Unraveled", to be performed at the informal showing.
