About Eric Thompson

As a third-year M.F.A. Acting candidate, Eric is honored to complete his IU credits playing the role of Mr. Darcy. He graduated from Muhlenberg College with a B.A. in Theater and Business. Professionally, Eric has worked at Indiana Repertory Theatre and American Lives Theatre in Indianapolis, and serves as Director for The RockNRoll Chorus. Previous IU credits include: Twelfth Night (Sir Toby Belch), Legally Blonde (Callahan), Sanctuary City (Henry), Pipeline (Dun). Additional credits: A Christmas Carol (male swing), A Case for the Existence of God (Keith), The Color Purple (Mister), In the Heights (Piragua Guy), and Venus (The Baron Doctor). Eric is excited to continue evolving as a performing artist and collaborate with other creatives to bring impactful stories to diverse audiences. A huge THANKS goes out to my family, friends, faculty mentors, and MFA classmates for supporting me in this meaningful grad school experience.
