Ninako is a B.F.A. Musical Theater graduate with a minor in Arts Management. She most recently performed in IU Mainstage's Wonderful Town (Dance Ensemble), Pippin (Catherine), and IU Summer Theater’s Our Town (Emily) and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Marcy Park). Previous credits: Nice Nails (Jasmine) with IU; Front Page Flo (Carmencita) with BPP; Jasper in Deadland (Agnes/Gretchen) and The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Pippi) with University Players; and West Side Story (Shark) with Cardinal Stage Company.

Ninako is half Japanese and deeply rooted in her heritage. When she is not performing, she enjoys cooking (and eating), writing, and having friends over. She makes it a point to stop and pet every dog she sees. Nina is from Palos Verdes, California.
