Our Town

By Thornton Wilder

Directed by Dale McFadden

Described by Edward Albee as “…the greatest American play ever written,” Our Town follows the citizens of Grover’s Corners through three acts: “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage,” and “Death and Eternity.”

The Stage Manager opens the play with an introduction to the town and its myriad inhabitants, most of whom have already passed, but they come to vibrant life in his retelling of their lives and stories. Performed with minimal props and sets, audiences follow the Gibbs and Webb families and their children as they experience all the joys and tragedies of life, and even reflect from the afterlife...
